$2001-$4000 Scooters
Now that gas prices have climbed to record highs, fuel economy has turned into one of the top, if not the most, important aspects of buying a vehicle. Unfortunately, even cars that get decent gas mileage are still expensive to fill up, at about $50 or more for a fill up. With this phenomenon in effect, it's no wonder that moped and scooter sales are growing super fast. Scooter mileage is amazing, as they can reach up to 100 miles per gallon. Many Trucks and SUV's get gas mileage in the 20 mile per gallon range, with a fill-up costing over a hundred dollars. Scooter mileage puts these numbers to shame.
What feels even better is that since mopeds usually have small gas tanks, you can drive 100 miles on a single tank, go back to refuel, and walk away after having paid only $10 out of your pocket.
Many commuters can save thousands of dollars each year simply by switching over to gas scooters to drive around town and to work everyday. This is the gas savings, but imagine the insurance, repairs, and actual car payment savings that you'll face as well.
